Hazelnut Lodge

Hazelnut Lodge started life on the road! It was a refrigerated lorry body! We have extended it using local cedar wood to create a two bedroomed, self contained holiday home that is suitable for wheelchair users.

Surrounded by newly planted Lavender, Peach and Hazelnut trees, Hazelnut Lodge has been carefully designed for wheelchair users and their families, as well as able bodied people.

The lodge is bright and modern, created in 2016, with a decked and covered verander over looking the tree covered mountains.

A gentle wooden slope leads to a pine lined kitchen, the worksurfaces are slightly lower, all doors are sliding, the bathroom is a wet room, with disabled accessibility toilet and sink. An adjustable shower chair is supplied.

Outside furniture includes table, chairs and sun loungers.

Bedroom One has a double bed, made at the correct height for transfers, and reinforced. Built in wardrobe, dressing table and bedside cabinets. Mosquito screens are on all windows.

Bedroom Two has bunk beds, suitable for teenagers and younger children. Built in wardrobe, and a chest of drawers.
